Hello, and welcome to the website for Freedom’s Journey!

Freedom’s Journey is a nonprofit Christian ministry committed to providing better options for victims and survivors of all forms of human trafficking.

Our mission is to assist those who have been enslaved to find the freedom and safety they deserve.

We do this through relationships and collaboration, as we help them navigate the challenges they encounter along their journey.

We work collaboratively with other stakeholders to provide survivors with resources to meet their security, transportation, physical, medical, emotional, and mental health care needs.

We also work with high risk individuals in order to reduce the possibility of their becoming victims of human trafficking.

Freedom’s Journey serves victims and survivors in western South Dakota and the surrounding region.

Your generosity makes it possible for us to help survivors write a better tomorrow story.

“Sadly, human trafficking is occurring in our state.  I will fight diligently for the resources and training law enforcement needs to identify, deter and end human trafficking in South Dakota.

Freedom's Journey is an excellent example of an organization that is making a difference assisting victims in the struggle to prevent human trafficking!”

I’m Sally and I recently was in need of help with fuel costs to escort another survivor to an out of state court appointment. Without the help of Freedom’s Journey -  My Sister Survivor and I, would not have been able to attend this much needed court appointment. Thank you, Freedom’s Journey for your HELP.

PLEASE DONATE TO FREEDOM’s JOURNEY, SURVIVORs LIKE MYSELF, MAY DEPEND ON YOUR DONATION.

Sincerely,      Sally Richardson

Children from towns, cities, and rural communities are exploited and enslaved to fulfill the sexual desires of strangers, in order to profit others, every day in America.

Men and women across this land are trapped under the brutal yoke of labor trafficking and sexual exploitation.  They are silently living out their days, unseen and unheard.

But there is hope!

The mission is clear, and the work is daunting, but there is no better time than right now to bring modern day slavery to an end!

Together we can make it happen!
